Existing structures + expert reports / 04
Understand the structure. Support the decision.
Diagnose Ingenieure brings structural diagnostics, engineering-structure inspections and expert assessment together with the next generation of inspection systems.
The foundation
Not every problem needs a device.
Many decisions begin with damage, an uncertain condition or a complex question. Work on existing structures remains a core competence. Mobile and installed inspection technology extends that work where access, repeatability and documentation become difficult.
- 01
Understand building damage
Investigating damage and condition in buildings and engineering structures. Moisture, cracks, contaminants, climate, noise, vibration and material behaviour are assessed as engineering questions.
- 02
Prepare for conservation
Surveys of existing structures, advice on building physics and materials, and renovation and restoration concepts. The intervention follows the findings.
- 03
Inspect structures
Inspection of masonry, concrete and steel structures, monitoring, and quality assurance for construction materials and methods. Standards and methods are applied to the specific task.
- 04
Substantiate conclusions
Expert reports, traceable findings and structured reporting for operators, planners, courts and legal counsel when a conclusion has to support a decision.
- Materials + building physics
Concrete, steel, masonry, timber, coatings and construction-material systems.
- Environment + use
Heat, moisture, noise, vibration, contaminants and ageing.
- Infrastructure + access
Bridges, roofs, cables, facades and difficult-access structures.

Cable expertise as a connecting thread
Close-access inspection. Unmanned inspection. Continuous evidence.
Our work on static cables builds on investigation, corrosion protection, condition assessment and purpose-built access. MAVIS is the next step in an engineering method, rather than an isolated product promise. The same limit applies to every task: a method can claim only what it can substantiate for the material, construction and inspection objective involved.

Expert assessment
When findings have to stand up, the method matters.
Expert reports, inspection reports and planning information must distinguish observation, limitations and conclusions. The same discipline makes digital evidence credible.
