About us / a family business with a toolbox

We do not wait for the right equipment.

We build it when the task calls for it. Diagnose Ingenieure brings expert judgement, hands-on engineering, physical systems and digital evidence together. With conviction and a clear purpose.

Our approach

No theatre. Just difficult problems.

Our history explains why we do not hand a difficult task to the next standard solution. It is no excuse, though. What matters is whether our method holds up at the structure and under engineering scrutiny.

  1. 01

    Reality wins.

We start with the structure, material, access and the decision that ultimately needs support, rather than with the equipment.

  2. 02

    Access is engineering.

When there is no route to the measurement, we develop one. Close-access, unmanned, mobile, installed or whatever the task requires.

  3. 03

    Data needs judgement.

A dataset is not a finding. Position, context, limits of interpretation and engineering review are what make it reliable.

  4. 04

A standard is a starting point.

We respect standards. And we keep developing when a task falls outside them.

People / The Boués

Three roles. Plenty of opinions.

The nicknames are internal. The responsibility behind them is real.

    01 / Engineer + expert assessor

    Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Phys. Andreas Boué
He starts with the material, stays with the actual question and develops the technical solution further when the existing method is not enough.

    02 / Finance + commercial management

    Cornelia Boué, Managing director
She keeps the business, finances and everyday work together, so a good idea becomes a sound project rather than just a good story.

Philipp Sebastian Boué, MA International Business Administration
He connects product, design and digital systems, so the method keeps working beyond the report as a platform, a process and the next capability.

MAVIS / a step in the development

From the cable to the field system.

Unmanned cable inspection shows how a specific access problem can become a repeatable process. Today, MAVIS is part of a wider family of systems, rather than its limit.

Origins / The history behind the work

A century in the making. Now going digital.

Heritage is not the service itself. It is the persistence behind it. This short timeline still needs to be developed from sources before publication.

  1. 1600+

    From departure to craftsmanship

The family history passes through the Huguenot era to Hamburg and shipbuilding: an early connection between material, construction and responsibility, rather than nostalgia.

  2. 1970+

    Close-access inspection

Prof. Dr. Paul Boué works in contexts including the Köhlbrand Bridge and develops a cable-suspended gondola for close-access inspection.

  3. 2000+

    Thinking beyond manned access

MAVIS develops from the question of how cables can be inspected repeatedly without a person on the cable.

  4. Today

    Field System

A single access system grows into a family covering inspection, sensors, the platform and engineering assessment.

Engineering partnership

Specialist knowledge that takes responsibility.

We work with operators, public clients, engineering teams, courts and legal counsel when the technical question is too complex for standard access, equipment or analysis.
