Evidence platform / 02

From field data to evidence.

More than a folder of media. A continuous context from live participation and replay through engineering review to the report.

Four layers

Context stays with the data.

Each layer addresses a different problem. Together, they support recurring inspection cycles, partner collaboration and programmes that can grow.

  1. 01

    Acquisition

Live images, sensor streams and defined still-capture sequences are connected to time, location and system state.

  2. 02

    Context

Asset, cable, segment, measurement route and inspection brief remain connected throughout the process.

  3. 03

    Engineering review

Live participation, replay, comparison and approval are kept separate from automated detection.

  4. 04

    Evidence

Images, findings, measurements and reports are delivered as a traceable chain of evidence.

System architecture / proposed direction

Field → connection → evidence → engineering review → handover

  1. 01

    Field module

    Camera, sensors, position

  2. 02

    Secured connection

    Wired or wireless

  3. 03

    Evidence core

    Asset context and timeline

  4. 04

    Engineering review

    Observation and approval

  5. 05

    Handover

    Report, data package, API

Connectivity

Live when it helps. Offline when it has to be.

  • Wired

    A deterministic connection
For long distances, high data rates and controlled field setups. Range and cabling are designed for the project.
  • Radio

    Flexible line of sight
For mobile systems, rapid setup and live review. The radio link is part of deployment planning, not just an icon.
  • Store + synchronise

    Keep the evidence
Local acquisition, condition checks and later synchronisation when the structure does not permit a stable connection.

Engineer-led AI

Supports judgement. Does not replace it.

Models can prioritise anomalies, group similar findings and help compare inspection cycles. Engineering responsibility, approval and limits of interpretation remain visibly with people.
